We are still here...

Well it has been a while since my last post. September was a busy month for us. School started, I shot 3 weddings and took a 5 day girls trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the year of 30 with some fantastic friends. The month ended and now it is October and we are gearing up for fall with the Marathon for school, pumpkins, apple orchard trips and deciding on what to be for Halloween. So far it looks to be a great month! I love October it just might be my favorite month of the year. I just can not get enough apples, fall spice candles and Halloween. This year I think I will have a cowboy(Brecken), a bumble bee zombie(Autumn always wants to be scary) and Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf (twins). I am working hard on costumes so hopefully I can finish them before Halloween as work has been crazy busy. I hope you all are enjoying our warm weather fall. We are at home where ever we roam...the new TOY

Well I am still not sure what to think of our latest purchase. I think it will be fun or maybe torture. I am not sure how I will do cooped up with all of us in this thing. But, it's to late to change my mind. We are now proud owners of this beautiful RV, or what ever you call it.

It was super well taken care of and really nice for being 10 years old. The kids think it is pretty cool and are looking forward to camping in it.

Here we all are the old owners, us and my in-laws. Now we just have to decide where we want to go. Happy Summer!

Slip'N'Slide Fun

How much fun can 4 kids have on a Sunday afternoon with a piece of landscape plastic and a sprinkler? Tons of FUN!! Mom and Dad were tired out from the Warrior Dash the day before so we decided to hang out at home in the sun with the kids. Dad set up the pool and slip and slide for some good cheap fun.

What is Warrior Dash???

"Warrior Dash is the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes. This 5k race is held on the most demanding and unique terrain from around the world. Participants will take on intense obstacles, and celebrate their feat with music, beer, and muddy shorts!"

The race was held at Afton Alps Ski Resort. It was a lot of fun, but really hard. The hills were killer, but I survived!

My Soccer Star

Autumn finally found something she really truly enjoys! SOCCER...she loves it. She had a great year playing traveling for the first time in U10. It took us all the way from Red Wing to Hugo this summer. She was blessed with having the same coach for the last few years, he pushes them to be their best and is great at getting them to push themselves. Her favorite place to be is in the goal, she must take after her mom because I loved being goalie as a kid in Ringette's (like girls hockey, before girls hockey...yes I am that old LOL)

Happy 4th a little late...

We had a relaxing wonderful fourth of July. We didn't have any major plans other than to hang out with the little kids. Autumn spent the weekend with her dad, so we only had the little kids. We made a trip to the drive in with cousins to see Cars 2, swam at St. Mary's Point and hung out at Grandma and Grandma's. It was a great weekend!

 Brecken loves the beach but I have to make him wear a life jacket because he is a little brave for me.

 This was when Hudson finally got brave and got off my lap. He is not a huge fan of the beach. He doesn't like the sand on his hands and everywhere else for that matter. He likes to be clean. As you can see his sister loves it and covers herself in sand:)

This was the second time to the beach this week and he still didn't warm up to the idea for at least a hour. I love the beach so I am going to keep working on him...he will like eventually right?

The rest of the weekend was spent at the Farm. Grandpa even set up a tent for the kids to sleep in. Uncle Tom was kind enough to stay out there with them.

The begining of a great summer....

Summer is in full swing. We are having a blast with water balloons, beaches, parks and so on....oh yeah and don't forget the sports! Here are a few pics of the kids enjoying summer. I will post more later when I have a chance.

My babies turned 2!

It's party time! 

We had a great day on Sunday with family and friends celebrating the twins second birthday.

We had a western themed party with cowboy hats, bales of hay and boots. I had all the details planned for a outdoor party, the sun was shining it looked beautiful out until you walked out the door. The wind was so awful that most of the party was inside:(
