Babies turn 10 months and Brecken's 3 year pictures

Here are a few recent pics of the kids.

The babies are getting so big and just within the last couple days they both started walking! I can not believe how fast life is going by. They are going to be a year old be for I know it. As I sit here I can not help but smile thinking of the way they interact with each other they mimic, fight and love each other so much you can see it in their faces from the moment they wake up to the time they go to bed. I am just trying to slow down and notice what they are doing each day. I think we all need some time to sit and enjoy each other. I know Autumn needs that time too. Tonight as we were getting ready for bed she asked me to tell her a story ( I am not very good at on the spot story telling) So we giggled and started a funny story when Brecken joined us in her bed with a book. So we read a couple of stories, gave kisses and they drifted off to sleep.

Here's to enjoying the spring weather we were blessed with early this year! Oh yeah and my baby girl just turned 9!! I need to get some new pics of her... I will post those as soon as she gives mom the ok to take some pictures, it takes a lot of convincing to get her to let me take pictures of her:)

Happy Spring~ Liz

Skiing... learning to shred the gnar!

Here are a few pics of Brecken learning how to ski in our yard! He loved every second of it, he has wanted to go skiing ever since the Olympics started and dad and Autumn went out to Colorado to go skiing. We just got season passes for next year at Welch so the kids are going to be pretty awesome at skiing!

Brecken turns 3!!

February 2nd 2007 sure seems like it was just yesterday, but weather I want to believe it or not it has been 3 years since Brecken was born. Time flies when your having fun! He had a great birthday! Dad picked out his present and he scored! Dad did a great job picking out the coolest power wheels. He got a police car just like Daddy is going to have. One of the first things Brecken said after opening the car was  "I go outside??" Spring is going to be busy trying out all the great gifts he got for his birthday and Christmas. Winter birthdays can be such a bummer, but the birthday celebrations last forever in the Siebenaler house so I am sure he enjoys his birthday even if he can't go outside! In a couple weeks we are going to have a friend party at Choo Choo Bob's Train store in St. Paul he is very excited for his party. Here are a few snapshots from his big day. Happy Birthday BRECKEN!

A whole lot of new skills!

So over the last few weeks the little kids have mastered a few new skills! Brecken is potty trained and this is a huge deal for him and for mom! That is one less kids diapers I have have to change!! Whoo hoo! Leighton has been crawling and sitting up for almost a month now but just last week managed to learn how to pull her self up! She loves all the independance she now has. She also has a wapping 8 teeth! She is growing to fast. Hudson just yesterday learned to sit up, he is still army crawling but gets around just fine. He is teething right now and has 4 already! He is becoming such a big boy. Well I have lots of work to do so this will have to be short. Brecken's 3rd birthday is only in a few days.

Welcome 2010!

Well we did it we made it to 2010! This year sure has been a crazy one with the arrival of the twins, my new business venture and Crist continuing his journey to become a police officer.
The year in review,
The twins arrived on May 12th 2009 and are now 7 months old. Hudson is the heavy weight that started talking first he said DaDa with Mama quickly following a few weeks later. Leighton is my peanut she has always been a few pounds lighter than Hudson! She does not talk yet but is excelling in other areas; she learned to crawl and sit up in a matter of minutes of each other and has not stopped since! I think I need some fencing:)
Autumn is in 3rd Grade now and loving every minute or most minutes! She and Crist will be taking a trip out west this summer to see some of his cousins and to ski Breckenridge! She is pretty stoked to shred with cousin Matt! Other than skiing Autumn keeps busy with dance and girl scouts. It's almost cookie time so start getting your orders together!
Brecken is getting taller by the day I swear! He will be turning 3 in February; I cannot believe he is going to be that old! Where does the time go? We will be starting to plan his party soon, he wants a train, Spiderman, speed car party. So I think whatever "boy" stuff I find will be just fine. I think we may try and go somewhere this year so mom doesn't have to have everyone at our house.

Crist is doing really well at school. This semester he managed with all the chaos to Achieve a 4.0! I am so proud of him! He only has until May and he is done!!! Only a few months left of craziness. He should graduate right around the twins first Birthdays! What a present, Dad realizing his dreams!

I am doing pretty well thanks due in part to all the wonderful people in my life, all the help driving Autumn to and from school watching the babies so I can get some running done and many other helping hands that have been extended this year. I have also had some excitement in my photography business, I partnered with a lovely lady named Kathy King and we have started a new business called Pictures of You Photography. We are learning a lot about the business end of things but really enjoying all the new opportunities this partnership has brought and will continue to bring in 2010. If you want to see some of my latest work check out: http://siebenalerphotography.blogspot.com/

I hope everyone enjoys the new year and if I didn't get you a Christmas card this year please accept my sincere apology as I am new to this business owner, mother of 4 job and did not get them all done. Next year I may do Happy New Years cards!

Family Pictures

Okay so it's that time of year again... and I thought oh I can do this just quick. Okay so we have way too many kids to try and have me set up everything and my best friend shoot ( who is not a photographer). Not only did they all turn out pretty bad I decided that I did not like what my husband and I are wearing. We looked to formal and not like us. So needless to say I think this years Christmas card will have 4 individual shots of the kids or maybe all the outtakes from the many times I tried to take the 4 kids pictures all together. As a photographer the thing I hate the most is photographing my own kids, at least all together:)

The end of summer is upon us...

As we are approaching the end of summer I can not believe all that has happened since school got out last year! We added 2 new members to our family, Brecken has grown about 5 inches and Autumn seems just so grown up.

Autumn will be starting 3rd grade in just a couple of days! I can not even believe that I have a 3rd grader..I am getting old! She is not as excited to start school this year as she has been in the past, I think she is getting the idea that school is hard work. But I think she will enjoy her new teacher and one new student joining her class. (She has been with the same 13 kids since Kindergarten) She also got a new do for the school year she is pretty excited about, I think it made her look more like a teenager so I am a little sad.
She will also start dance, girl scouts and soccer in the next couple of weeks busy busy kid!

Brecken is getting so tall and talking so much! We are getting close to potty training but I wanted to wait until school started and we have a schedule in this house again. He has one more year before he will start school but I think he would gladly go at this point. He likes to play with other kids and really likes going to daycare one day a week just to get out of the house and away from babies:)

The babies are about 4 months now and growing like weeds. Hudson is weighing in at 15 lbs and Leighton is trailing at 13 lbs. They both giggle, smile and roll over! We will be getting official weights soon when we go to their 4 month check up.

Crist and I are looking forward to the end of the State Fair so at least on his days off he will be home. He has been at work, school and the State Fair as a reserve. I am keeping busy chasing kids and getting my photography business off the ground. I have a few weddings in the next couple of months and we are approaching Christmas card season so I will be pretty busy.

I hope everyone had a great summer!
